Kleynimals - Clean Key Animals
Meet Eli the Elephant, Gus the Giraffe, and Leo the Lion. They are non-toxic stainless steel toy keys that will satisfy your child’s desire to play with metal keys without the hazards of lead contamination, sharp edges, or the daily grime that come with the keys in the bottom of your diaper bag.
Babies love to play with our keys. Although we can try to replace our regular keys with an alternative, all of those toy keys contain plastic (what’s in that stuff!??). If your babies are anything like mine, they aren’t fooled by the plastic imitations anyway.
Of course, you could create a set of keys at the local hardware store, which seems like a great idea until you learn that household and car keys often contain dangerous amounts of lead! No kidding.
That’s why we made Kleynimals out of Food Grade Stainless Steel – it is safe for babies and mimics the look and feel of a real key. We know stainless steel is safe; we put it in our mouths every day when we eat from stainless steel utensils.
Non-toxic – Stainless steel eliminates the worry over chemicals like BPA or phthalates. And because our products are always manufactured in the U.S., parents can be sure that kids are not putting lead or cadmium in their mouths.
Dishwasher Safe – You can even put Kleynimals in the dishwasher!
Stainless steel is non-corrosive and rust resistant, and is a more hygienic option since it has easy cleaning properties, which is the reason that it is used in hospitals, kitchens and laboratories.
Stainless steel is heat and fire resistant. We hope you don’t have to worry about fires, but we know you do have to worry about toys left in hot cars. Note, you and your Kleys should still avoid direct sun tanning.
Green – Stainless steel is 100% recyclable and the average stainless steel product contains over 50% recycled material.
You may also have the back-side of these "keys" engraved as a keepsake item.
